Indosat Ooredoo Run
If you are one of those people who like sports, especially running, try to participate in Indosat Ooredoo Run event. Just like the name said, this event is held to celebrate golden birthday of Indosat Ooredoo, and to raise funds and support to improve digital literation in Indonesia.
There are two running categories that will be held: 5K Run and 50K Virtual Run. What’s the difference? The first category will be held on Desember 10th, 2017 at around main office of Indosat Ooredoo at Medan Merdeka Barat Street, Central Jakarta. For 50K Virtual Run, the location can be anywhere, so the participants should upload the record of their running within period of Oktober 20th - November 19th, 2017.
So, if you want to participate in 5K Run, you should register and are in Indonesia on H-day. While for 50K Virtual Run, participant only needs to register and can run at their own area and reach 50K within 30-days. But, remember, you should do actual run without using any equipment, such as treadmill or bicycle.
To participate in this event, of course participant should pay registration fee. Rp100.000 for 5K Run and Rp200.000 for 5K Virtual Run. It will be cheaper if you participate in both—only Rp250.000.
There’s no age restriction to participate in this event. Whoever who feels healthy, and is able to run, can take part in this. But, for 5K Run event, there’s cut off time for 1.5 hours. So, if within that time participant can’t finish the race, committee will prepare a vehicle to bring them to finish line.
For participants who are able to finish the race, they will get finisher medal. Committee will also prepare a gift for podium winners. Though, until this day, there’s no information about the gift.
