As we believe that teleconferencing can help people  from the different location to communicate each other, it is can be seen in the last Indonesia President Election 2014 that followed by two candidates for president and vice president, they are Prabowo-Hatta and Jokowi-JK.

Each of the two candidates known using teleconference call to communicate with their supporters from outside Jakarta and who live abroad.

Prabowo Subianto in the last day of campaign period on July 5, 2014, held a teleconference at his house called Polonia House to communicate with his supporters from Makassar anda Probolinggo. In this event, a teacher from Probolinggo recounted his complait to Prabowo about related to low salary. Prabowo promised to to improve the welfare of teachers if he elected President of Indonesia.

Before Prabowo, his vice president candidate on June 28, 2014 has held a teleconference also to communicate with their supporters  consisting  of Indonesian student who are studying abroad in several countries like United States, Japan and Australia.

In this teleconference, Hatta describe the Prabowo-Hatta vission and missin related to educational fields. He said that youth participation is very important in order to enlighment the nation and it could become an asset to build the country. Hatta also said that he and Prabowo hoping that the youth generation who studying abroad willing to fight for Indonesia becoming an independent nation in the future.

On the other side, the vice president candidate Jusuf Kalla (JK) took a chance to make a teleconference with his supporters who live in Egypt. They are students and TKI who work there. JK told about his hope for the future Indonesian Government could be fair and honest to society and avoid the politic turmoil as happened in Egypt.
